About Me

Susana Fuentes is an Associate Attorney at DAG Law Firm, APC, where she focuses primarily on tenant habitability cases. She approaches each matter with compassion, attention to detail, and a strong belief that everyone deserves to understand their rights and have a dedicated advocate on their side.

As the daughter of immigrants and someone who grew up in a family that rented, Susana understands the stress families can face when landlords fail to properly maintain their properties. Her earliest experience with the legal system came when her mother pursued a claim after suffering a workplace injury. That experience inspired her to become the kind of attorney she would want representing her own family—one who listens, communicates clearly, and advocates with determination.

Susana earned her B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine, and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. During law school, she participated in the Children’s Rights Clinic, where she advocated for the educational rights of children with disabilities, and interned with the Los Angeles County Office of County Counsel, Social Services Division, gaining experience in dependency matters, administrative hearings, and legal research.

Fluent in Spanish, Susana values being able to communicate with clients in the language they are most comfortable speaking. At DAG Law Firm, she brings that same care to habitability matters, advocating for tenants and families dealing with unsafe or unhealthy living conditions and helping them understand the rights and protections available to them.
