Two teenage girls were killed in a violent three-vehicle collision near Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive in Victorville during the night of August 14, 2026.
The collision happened at approximately 8:35 p.m. CHP said a yellow Chevrolet Camaro and black Dodge Charger were traveling northbound on Ridgecrest Road at high speed when an Acura entered the intersection from Elmwood Drive. Both vehicles struck the Acura, causing catastrophic damage.
The Acura’s 17-year-old driver and 16-year-old passenger died at the scene. Both were later identified as seniors at Sultana High School. CHP said the Camaro driver fled on foot, while the Charger driver remained at the scene and was later arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
